Anthrax - Greater of Two Evils

Ripping and RAW. John Bush sings those track way better than Joey Belladona did

Hell yes!! There's so much more meat in his voice... they'd definitely be my favourite of the Thrash Big-4.

Great album!

They have had more lineup changes. So much for the DVD I bought 2 years ago with them all saying how great it was to have the original lineup back again.  :?

Audioslave - Out Of Exile

Definitely my favourite of their three albums.

Really? Thats my least favourite, the self titled is by far the best imo with out of exile being my least favourite :P

Yeah, I know I'm in a minority there  :P .

The first album has bigger riffs and more all-around Zeppelinesque bombast, but I think Out Of Exile has much better songs and sounds more like a proper band.  Then Revelations is good, but a bit rambling and unfocused - I suspect Cornell was already thinking of quitting.

I never expected the band to last very long, to be honest, but it was good while it lasted.

NWOBHM '79 Revisited

Ah! 1979 was a good year in many ways :)

New member kouri101 posted a link to Abbe May and the Rockin' Pneumonia on the 'Pickups' thread, so I'm giving them a listen. Really like them and their guitar tone (H)

Awesome!

I've had Peter Green's 'The Green Manalishi' playing quite a lot recently.

Grace Slick - Dreams

Never thought I'd get this on CD!  It was selling (or at least listed!) for hundreds of pounds on Amazon Marketplace a few months ago, but now it's appeared on import from Korea.
