Nice one Philly :D

After a little shopping expedition last weekend, I'm concentrating on:

Wishbone Ash - Live Dates (had it for years on vinyl, don't remember it being this good...)

Ted Nugent:
Double Live Gonzo (ditto, but I do remember it being this good before my vinyl wore out!)
5 albums (nice little cheap "box set" thing - 5 studio albums in carboard sleeves "Ted Nugent" through to "Scream Dream", never owned any of these before.)

The remastered BGO version or the MCA 2-CD? (Just curious, I'm completely obsessive when it comes to Wishbone Ash!  )

Yeah, I got the Rory boxset, just working my way through slowly.  Must get the Ted box, and maybe the Cheap Trick, BOC and Jefferson Airplane ones too!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

It's the single disc BGO version of Live Dates Philly - didn't realise it was "re-mastered" but I was reaching that conclusion listening to it.

I thoroughly recommend the Ted box, puts a smile on one's face! It seems the first three ("Ted Nugent", "Free For All", and "Cat Scratch Fever") are all remasters, they have extra live tracks, as well. "Weekend Warriors" and "Scream Dream" are not though.

The sound is definitely better than the MCA version, but to fit it on one disc they've had to cut out the little bits of chat between songs, which is annoying.

Ah! I wondered how they managed that. I don't remember much in the way of chat, which is why I hadn't noticed...

I'm less familiar with the first Live Dates - although I love it now - I prefered the Laurie Wisefield line-up at the time, and therefore the sound of Live Dates II (and the fact that I'm on II, that's me at Andy Powell's feet at Bristol Colston Hall...)

Sadly Live Dates II is unavailable on CD, and probably will remain so for the foreseeable future...  :(

I've got it on vinyl, but can't play it.  If I ever get a new turntable I'll listen out for you!

Have you got the remastered Just Testing? The extra tracks include the live Blowing Free b/w Helpless single - Helpless was us in Bristol...

Have you got the "double" Live Dates II on vinyl or just the single? (Moi, double, of course )

Yeah, I've got them both  :P .  I've got everything, studio, live, DVDs, compilations (except the ones which only include previously-released material, and there are lots of them!).  There were a couple of old vinyl releases which haven't surfaced on CD though, like the Japanese live album.
