and i made a guitar neck for ed... expecting to put the guitar together at some point but i turned up tonight and he had done it all complete (bugger, i wanted that glory!!) with a 6mm thick aluminium diamond plate scratchplate, hand painted body and with a warpig (my recomendation) stuck in the bridge

it was very, very good.  i asked for pics and soundclips for you guys...

Yeah, that's a good one. I'm working on a NWOBHM comp CD to play at work. The problem is fitting em all onto one CD!!!!!

What I've been playing lately:

Deep Purple, California Jams
Uriah Heep, Salisbury
Iron Maiden, Number Of The Beast

Coheed & Cambria mix I made a while ago that only follows the Claudio/The Crowning story line.

Circa Survive - Juturna. Once you get used to the singers high voice, they're awesome. Act Appalled is my favourite thus far.

Ron Jarzombek - Solitarily Speaking of Theoretical Confinement, one of the most mental guitar albums I can think of, featuring a track in 65/64, among other craziness.

Venetian Snares - Detrimentalist, insane drum and bass, all over the place in terms of sounds and time sigs.

Exotic Animal Petting Zoo - I Have Made My Bed in Darkness, amazing mix of spacey rock a la Mars Volta, mixed with Sigur Ros, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Glassjaw. Possibly one of my favourite finds of recent months.

Everytime I die - Gutter Phenomenon.

Love this album.

'Tis a beast indeed, was listening to it earlier.

Dude, explain to me why everyone likes Glassjaw! PLEASE, everyone I know loves them, and I feel like I should, but the guy's voice is soooo annoying!
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Getting in the spirit with 'A Christmas Gift For You from Phil Spector'.

If you only buy/play one Christmas album this festive season make sure it's this one. Not a Band Aid, Elton John, Slade, Paul McCartney, Wham, Mariah Carey etc etc etc in sight.
I think I hate being indecisive.
