Warriour Soul - ...And We Rock And Roll

Is that a new Warrior Soul album?  I was a big fan 20 years ago, but I lost interest when they stopped being political and became a drugs/party band...

Yeah, it was released as 'Chinese Democracy' last year for a giggle, but that's the 'official' title of it...luckily picked a copy up when they played last year! Can't beat 'Salutations...' though!

Warrior Soul! That's a blast from the past. I saw them when they supported Metallica at Wembley Arena in 1990.
They're out on tour again, I need to see them!

Now Listening to: Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

They played at my venue a few months back. Think we'll book them again on the next tour - I'll let you know.

Now listening to The Bronx III - The Bronx
GREAT GOOGILY MOOGILY!

Didnt realise that it was out yet :D It's only £6 on play.com *buys*

Btw, I'm starting to get a band together back in the Kettering area since the guy I used to play with has picked up drums again and we know a gret bassist as well. You know of any good available singers?

Good choice !  :)

He certainly knows how to capture some beautiful tones. I was blown away when I first saw him perform this  live version of "City Love" on a 'Crossroads guitar festival'  DVD .  The build up intro is very fluent and funky ;  but it's the subtle slow solo bit in the middle that hits me.  He gets accused of being derivative ( like the majority of guitar  players  aren't ? )  - and all manner of slander on "The Gear Page"  - but if I could have written songs and played like that at his ( or any ) age  I would not fear the critics. His live intro and solo in that lovely song 'Gravity' are  also gems .   :)
