I'm listening to this, and loving it:

yes, a very talented young chap there, but the one that slays me is the Live version of '"Gravity" ; it has a vibe to float away on - and some seriously righteous tone ...  8)

Great to hear,  :D

I have been a Waits fan since the 70s - and so I am of course rather predudice, but I feel he is a monumental creative treasure that too often flies "under the radar" of general public conciousness.

( By the way, which album or tracks are you enjoying the most so far ? )

Paradoxically, in the middle of my usual  Tom Waits and mellow Jazz  diet, I am really enjoying listening to a compilation CD of ( The heaviest of ) Black Label Society I just put together.

Great on the MP3 player for the weightlifting and generally getting 'juiced' ...   PDT_003

How anyone can handle listening to THAT many pinch harmonics is beyond me

I'm still on Neil's massive grind playlist. Currently Napalm Death - The World Keeps Turning.

The new Mastodon album Crack The Skye... best album I've heard in a looooooooooong time!

Listening to it makes me feel 15 again - listening to new types of music for the first time

You're not suggesting it's better than Remission or Leviathan or even Blood Mountain are you?

Because The Verve were actually awesome once upon a time, before Ashcroft dragged them down with mediocre ballads.
Proud owner of a set of Riff Raffs and Emeralds.
