Currently on a huge Zwan binge lately.

It saddens me knowing what this band could have been capable of if Billy Corgan hadn't pulled the plug on them so quickly.  Just checkout the various songs they recorded but never released officially.  I was really looking forward to the Djali Zwan album, and it'll probably never see the light of day now.  Still, at least the "Spun" soundtrack was leaked.

The Smashing Pumpkins are one of my favourite bands ever, but Zwan was probably a more exciting prospect at the time than new Pumpkins material is right now (especially since Jimmy Chamberlin's gone)

Quireboys at the minute. How are you meant to say their name. Is it choir-boys or queerboys? I can never decide :lol: Either way its good rock music, the singer sounds like he eats gravel for breakfast.

In particular, the song "All I want" which has one of my favourite all-time guitar solos.  They don't make 'em like that anymore :)

Actually, comparing what ended up on the album to the outtake, I'm not sure which I like best.  If anything George actually reined his playing back a bit for the final version  :o
