Best of the Smiths.  Been walking round the office whistling Girlfriend in a Coma.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Chickenfoot!
It's good to hear Satriani in a band situation, and Sammy, Chad and Mike are on great form.
Good simple songs, or is it a bit shreddy?

Hmm.. somewhere in between. Have a listen and tell me what you think. (BTW the HQ version has much better sound)

Hmmm.... not sure.   Decent song, and Sammy sounds OK (at least his voice is holding up better than Coverdale's!), but I didn't like the solos - Satriani's tone is too smooth and sort of fusiony.  I thought the song called for something more gnarly and aggressive.  Still interested in hearing the album though.  :)

Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Live - haven't heard this for nearly 30 years!! Class...

Before that it was The Auteurs - had to go and check them out cos I've just finished reading Luke Haines's book (birthday pressie). Talented chap, not quite my cup of tea - book's good though!

Walk on Water- UFO, such a great album

I remember them on tour in '98 and Schenkers guitar had never sounded better imo.

After seeing live him last year I never want to hear him again!!  I know he was a great guitarist, but now the show is just a foil for his ego and gets to be really booring when he goes into 20 minute guitar solos that invlove sliding the pick down the sritings into an echo that is then modulated!
So many pickups, so little time

Son of Fire. Awesome rock/blues band from a forumite on HC who got "discovered" at NAMM a year or so ago I think. The whole album is up at - http://www.purevolume.com/sonoffire

Awesome tone as well, listen to Six Guns :)
