I now have amazing G.A.S. for that Goldtop single pickup that Billy Gibbons was using - I looked as hard as I could and I'm 98% sure it said TOKAI on the headstock...

I need to know 100% though as it was gorgeous.

i'm fairly sure it's in the Rock'N'Roll gearhead book, i'll check when i get home and let y'all know ;)

Was this a clip from an old Jools Holland show?  I remember that guitar, but I thought it had a piece of masking tape covering the headstock logo.  :?

Anyway, tonight I am listening to:

Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know
Coney Hatch - Outa Hand

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

dir en grey - withering to death (japanese guys do strange things, usually, and this is no exception...)
end of you - mimesis (your average finnish gothic rock band, but with an interesting use of electronics, and good songs too!)
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

ok Mr Dave, i finally remembered to check my book!  i don't know if the guitar in the book is the same one that's on the tv show, but the book one is a Gibson Custom Shop Gold top, with a stop bar bridge, a single cream P90, the hood badge from a '58 Ford Thunderbird inlaid into the front of the guitar and "drink Mamba beer" inlaid on the fret board.  it does look mighty fine! but i'd love to see one without the inlays, and maybe with a humbucker.  if i can get to a scanner i'll put it up here.  hope that helps your GAS (which means makes it worse ;) )
