Dark Side of the Moon. May 21st will be played in it's entireity!

i played it in it's entirety a couple of weeks ago...

Awesome!

How did it go?

um, well, i put the disc in and pressed play, this heartbeat started, so i turned the lights off and lay down, and enjoyed the SACD surround mix.  was good.

so, are you playing it yourself, or going to see it being played?

sorry for the silly joke

lmao.

Well our college course is playing it in it's entireity as a big group for our final major project thing. It's going to have a massive light show, visuals and explosions too :P

I'm playing guitar on Great Gig and Money.
Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.

Been listening to a ton of Coheed and Cambria recently. Fell totally in love with them. Also got an album by This Will Destroy You, a very cool instrumental post rock band. I think my ears orgasmed when I put my headphones on to listen properly.
Mississippi Queens, Holydiver.

haha I know

Something a bit different to what I usually have on now, bit of Santana - Abraxas. Awesome guitar tone, so much better than his more recent tone which is far too thick and weird.

The recording is mastered FAR too loud - completely brickwalled with clipping on every transient. Tragic, because it could have sounded HUGE.

It's gonna be The Black Crowes for a while I think - just back from seeing them again tonight.

Just finished removing a load of stuff from my mp3 player so I can cram all their albums on

The missus enjoyed them a lot too, but when she found I didn't have a "best of", her mp3 request for tomorrow's holiday journey was "can you put Mama Mia on mine?"
