Architects - Hollow Crown

Brutal techy metal stuff! Are they related to The Safety Fire in any way? The vocals sound quite similar sometimes and TSF vocalist is pretty unique sounding.

Recently I've been listening to aloy of KOAN sound.

http://www.myspace.com/koansound

This is music AS PHAT AS IT GETS!!!!!!!!!

Also Bat for Lashes, the Ergo Proxy Soundtracks, and Hans Zimmers Angels and Demons soundtrack.

Not a huge amount of guitar music.

Great album and band.

Don't think they're related in any way - Send Dez a pm if you wanna be sure.

And the Ergo Proxy soundtrack is kickass.

Small Brown Bike. $%&#ing awesome band. Just wicked. I keep straying from them, but I always come back and it's always like a big exciting storm gust of fresh air.
LOVE THEM.
The album "Our Own Wars" is DEFINITELY top 5 albums material.
LOVING the Mules!

Lawnmower Deth - Mower Liberation Front  :D

lmao, top quality - I loved 'watch out grandma', an underated classic.  I've still got their split LP with Metal Duck on vinyl featuring classics such as 'march of the metal ducks to the ponds of hell' and 'I got the claps and me knob fell off'.  they were both like thrash versions of the Mac Lads which is reason enough to like them (Fluffy Pup anyone?)

They've reformed and are playing Download this year too.  ;)

Oddly enough, the last time I went to Donington I stayed at Pete Lee's (better known as Qualcast Mutilator) flat the night before.  Long story.  He was (possibly still is) married to a friend of my girlfriend at the time's sister.  This means I'm one of the few people to have seen the rather dodgy Lawnmower Deth documentary video that they filmed themselves while on tour, etc.  :D

lmao, nothing to write home about that documentary then eh?  me and a mate of mine were crazy about Lawnmower Deth and Metal Duck when we were at school - LD's cover of Kids In America is quality.
