DnL does seem to have deleted an entire thread (the band video from Saturday one)where I said I thought his band were bad, though  :? That or just my post and I can't find the thread now.

Well, I was listening to the Mythloria video again, and I think the recording really lets it down.
The riffing does seem to have a lot of Ben's signature to it which detracts from the 70s feel IMO.

Would actually quite like to hear some more proper recorded stuff though.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Boatmans Call.

Has one of my favourite non-guitar tracks on it - Into My Arms. If only I could sing I would cover it in the style of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Lamb of God - Laid to Rest. Classic song, haven't listened to it in ages, and it was a nice surprise. :)

I'm a big Nick Cave fan but I've actualy never paid much attention to the Boatman's Call, dunno why.

Err, is this directed at me?

If it is, I don't think saying I thought your band is "actually quite bad" after expecting the playing to be great (I can't remember my exact wording and can't go back to check, I think it's honest. I can't be assed with the abounding sycophancy that's present on most guitar-centric forums. Would it have been less "rude" if I'd detailed why I said I thought it was bad rather than just not liking it?

And the above comment was a joke. I really don't think anyone with a sense of humour could read it as anything bar friendly joshing.

If it wasn't directed at me, never mind.

Why did you take down trhat thread? Not happy with the recording quality or summat?

The Lonely Island - Incredibad

what an awesome album

Are they the ones who did "jizz in my pants" ?   Is the rest of the album like that.

I am listening to Steel Panther, I love it and it has fired up my enthusiasm for over the top guitar widdle  :D
