RushI've bought most of the recent Japanese paper sleeve SHM-CD reissue series of the first 12 studio albums (I still need to get Hemispheres and Permanent Waves in this format).
I love paper sleeve editions because of the vinyl nostalgia, plus I've noticed the mastering on these (which is from '97 so I guess it's the same as the remasters series) seems slightly quieter i.e. more dynamic than some other versions I've heard.
Jim Hall - LiveThis is a great guitar album, a great jazz album, and above all an amazing
jazz guitar album.
Jim's tone is stunning and his playing is sublime.
Highly recommended for anyone who likes jazz or wants to get into jazz guitar.
Caravan - In The Land Of Grey And PinkPossibly my favourite Canterbury scene band (definitely my girlfriend's favourite) and this is a fine album showing their mix of eclectic pop and folk/prog.
