I'm listening to the Amelie soundtrack, and feeling quite disturbed by how much I'm enjoying the accordian  :o

I can imagine it is enhanced by association with such a lovely little film .  :D

(You have just reminded me to post Audrey in the 'Crushes' thread ).

A couple of random-grabs-off-the-shelf:

The Mob - The Mob     (features Reb Beach, Kip Winger and Doug Pinnick... but it's pretty ropey  :| )

Vain - No Respect     (haven't played this for years.... great stuff!  :D )
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

orphaned land - the neverending way of ORwarriOR

this album ROCKS, and orphaned land are definitely the best thing Israel has ever produced including grapefruits and dates (the only good thing if you don't like fruits, i'd add...).

the rest of the album is much more progressive (produced by steven wilson, if it tells you something...), but i'm crazy for folk-metal stuff!!
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

Interesting. It reminded me of Ofra Haza from 88.

Thanks to the board I have discovered Peter Green properly now so I've been listening to "A Hard Road" and the first Fleetwood Mac album a lot.  Thanks chaps, it's amazing stuff.

I've spent the last couple of weeks revisting one of my favourite bands Prong , and in particular their 1996 album Rude Awakening which lured me away from my space rock roots and into industrial thrash, drop tunings, guitars other than Strats and LP's and ultimately to Bare Knuckle Pickups in search of THE tone for which I wil be eternally grateful.
I'd almost forgotten how strong the album is - not a single duff track IMO - if you like industrial thrash that is  :)
