funny enough i had Back Street Symphony on in the car last week! :)  some great stuff on there.

right now, i have Slash's album.  it's... tamer than i expected  :?  a few listens will give a better view of it, but first impressions are that the fiery guitar slinger of old has mellowed, perhaps a little too much.  so far, Fergie is actually the best singer i've heard!  

EDIT;  not the best singer i've EVER heard, just on this album :)

Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell (Deluxe Expanded Edition)

The album is as wondrous as ever, but I'm a bit underwhelmed by the second disc - six live tracks (including two versions each of "Children of the Sea" and "Heaven and Hell" ) plus the 7" single edit of "Lady Evil".

Completely agree, blue. The fergie song is pretty good with great singing, the rest are so boring and tame!

Slash - Slash - gotta say I like it, for so many variedsingers on there, I think it holds together well. I love the Alice Cooper & Nicole whateverhernameis song and also Myles Kennedy's stuff

The Quireboys - Halfpenny Dancer - love it, but then again I have a very big soft spot in my heart for them

I've got the Jeff Buckley Live at Sin-e (Legacy edition) on. Just proves that a simple set up can give great results (unless you are sh!t like I am!).

His cover of Je N'en Connais Pas La Fin is great. I really should get off my backside and learn it - not the singing, just the guitar.

great swedish death metal. i really love what they're doing lately, the last two albums are their best since Where No Life Dwells... at least IMO. and GREAT guitar solos!

Listening to Devendra Banhart - Cripple Crow. A bit of a departure from my usual stuff. Very nice, relaxing and weird.

 :lol:  Never happen.

(I have tried to listen to a couple of his tracks in the past.... but my eyelids start feeling heavy.... I dream I'm stuck in an elevator listening to the guitar version of Kenny G.... then suddenly it's morning and I'm being woken by the first rays of sunlight coming through the curtains.... )
