an entirely predictable selection of albums:

MSG - One Night at Budokan
Rainbow - Rising
Scorpions - Tokyo Tapes

It's yer own bluddy fault

And when he gets any good, I just bet he won't want to play drums along to his Dad's "old-f@rt" music... just warning you so's you won't be too disappointed when it happens :D

Then why do you call yourself a metalhead?!

This week:

Blind Guardian, At The Edge Of Time
Airtime, Liberty Manifesto
Power Quest, Master Of Illusion. Power Quest has become one of my favourite bands in a very short period of time. Melodic metal done just right! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im5pEXuiCMI

My favorite bands are Opeth, Meshuggah, and Cynic.  Yes there is more to them than metal but essentially I am a metal head.

In my own little time warp I am listening to Robert Plant's "Band of Joy" which I am liking and I wasn't expecting to. I have also dusted off a few of my Ronnie Lane albums for some strange reason.

Jesus Christ Superstar (well, I'm watching the film - the '73 one).

Not watched it in a while and downloaded a few films I've not seen in a while after watching the 100 Greatest Musicals. JCS is my favourite by far, hell, if you ditched everything bar the Judas songs it'd still be the best musical ever.

Rent will be up next.

just listened to Lotus Flow3r by Prince.  best Prince album i've heard in a while, i like it.

now got on Tigertailz, Bezerk:live... Burnin' Fuel.  i admit, i half expected it to be poop, but it's really rather good!  Kim Hooker's voice isn't what it was, but Jay Pepper's guitar playing is great!  some nice rearrangements of the songs too
cry HAVOC!! and let slip the pigs of war!!!
