i've been buying the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds deluxe reissues, so my current listening is the cheery and uplifting "Murder Ballads" :)

To be fair, ignoring the words, Murder Ballads is probably his most uplifing and cheerful (sounding) record aside from Nocturnarama and Dig! lazarus Dig! :lol:

I've been listening a lot to the new Ramasses record and a demo from a death metal band I was in for a while called (wait for it) Agonised Defomity. The former is better, but the latter is also excellent and came out better than I would of envisaged when I left. Was impressed. Still, wouldn't have held that name if I was there :lol:

Haven't listened to that for years!  But I remember the first two or three tracks being really good, then much of the rest of it being a bit boring.... never used to get through the whole album.

I guess I should give it another try.
