Devils Blood are excellent. Jex Thoth are a similar one for anyone who enjoys the above. It's cool that there's all these bands out now harking back to the likes of Covan. Ghost are another. Well, sorta. Mixed up with Blue Oyster Cult and Mercyful Fate.

Steelhouse Lane - Slaves of the New World / Metallic Blue

$%&#ing hell, this is good!  Old fashioned melodic hard rock, great guitars and vocals, very much reminds me of Giant.

Bought the new Blut Aus Nord record two days ago. Cracking good album! Really weird, but enormously cool. My girlfriend also really likes it.

Now listening to Million Dollar Reload: Anthems of a Degeneration.  Northern Irish sleazy hard rock band.  they're reallt rather good, although it always bugs me when a band from here uses words like "windshield" :(

singer sounds like a rabid Bon Scott, which can only be a good thing :)
