The respective works of Journey and Molly Hatchet from 1978 to 1983.

(Which sounds like a very strange specialist subject on Mastermind)

Pulled Apart By Horses - Tough Love. Wolf Hand is definitely the best track but it's all pretty good. Loads of energy!

Alizeé - J'en ai marre!

Well, not technically listening. More watching the video with the sound muted. Does that still count?

Molly Hatchet - Take No Prisoners

Still revisiting my youth.  I'd forgotten what a great album this is - pretty simple, straightforward stuff, but catchy tunes, in-your-face guitars and terrific vocals from Jimmy Farrar.  It's putting a rare smile on my face.  :)

I just discovered some crazy feckers called Foxy Shazam.

Someone on a songwriter forum sent me a link with "if I know you like I think I do, you gotta check these guys out..."

At first it was WTF... but wow!

Their latest one isn't on spotify yet, but I'm listening to the previous one.

Like the Darkness but somewhat more to my taste. Don't find the guitaring quite as yummy as the Hawkins guys, but the songwriting/arranging and the general off-the-wall-ness are fantastic for my money.

Apparently they supported the Darkness recently, so some of you guys might have seen them. I understand they weren't appreciated by the Darkness crowd in this country, though... I can see why. Brian May's a big fan of the Darkness, but Freddie Mercury would've loved this lot...

Think I might even have to buy some music for the first time in months...

They did indeed support The Darkness. Totally bonkers and you're right, they didn't get given a fair ride by some of The Darkness fans. A real shame as I find heckling and throwing bottles/objects at bands the absolute height of rudeness and completely unnecessary.

I haven't listened to them since though so will have to give them a further look (or listen!)
I think I hate being indecisive.
