Black Keys - El Camino

Been listening to that a lot.

Currently listening to my wife shouting down the phone at a photographer....... who's a $%&#wit (the photographer, not the wife).
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

In a rare Opeth mood today, just stuck Still Life on and reminded me how awesome they are. Guitar tone is amazing as well.

I can relate to that, I really like Opeth but hardly ever listen to them for some reason.  :?

More Clutch again today. I think they might be the best/most badass rock band ever.

Corrosion of Conformity

The new(ish) self-titled album, recorded as a three-piece without Pepper Keenan.  It's good.  :)

Currently giving repeated listening / watching to two tracks from the new(ish) Tom Waits Album '" Bad As Me" - over on you tube ;  namely  'Satisfied' - and " Hell Broke Luce".   The former being surprisingly catchy ( with Tom's compelling dance moves of course ) - and the later having stunning visuals / and a stark anti-war message.

On both, the great Marc Ribbot  providing wonderfully apt / raw guitar work.  I understand that Keef appears on 'Satisfied' - as he is name checked during it.

I do like Marc Ribot. Like most great guitarists you know it's him playing the second you hear the first note.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I've been listening to lots of Tool and A Perfect Circle recently. I'm addicted. I love Maynard James Keenan's style....
And the tasteful riffs by Adam Jones alongside the insane bass lines are awesome.

I've also been listening to Amy Winehouse a lot recently. Love her voice.
