Marty Friedman - Dragon's Kiss.
Some very tasty playing in there. The day I am able to play Dragon Mistress (will never happen), will be a very happy day indeed.
That album is a classic, front to back!

Riverdogs - Vivian Campbell's best recorded guitar tone IMHO.

That's a great album!  :D

I also really like the Shadow King album he did with Lou Gramm.

Man, AiC delivers!

I'm getting into Ghost and their latest album Infestissumam

It's pretty cool doom metal.

I like the album, but it's not really very doomy (or even metally) really, is it?  If you ignore the comedy Satanic lyrics and imagery, it's almost poppy.

Yeah, I agree! It's more a a cool relaxing lighter listening experience. I do dig the sound they have, not many today dares to move away from the overproductions in todays music.

Although, why did they have to over compress during mastering?????? Really bugs me out.

Live or a recording?

I've been somewhat obsessed with his 2&3 part inventions recently.

on a slightly related note, I never get tired of this.

It wasn't a mistake, it was chromaticism, I swear.
