Author Topic: Bought a new guitar! FAO of TO!!!!! (Read 2640 times)

Hey guys.

I bought a new guitar today so just thought I'd share the info:

It's a Charvel (I dunno what model it is, it doesn't say anywhere on the guitar!)

It has a 24 fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard, (I think) an alder body, with an angled humbucker in the bridge and a single coil in the neck, a Charvel branded 'Made by Schaller' Floyd Rose bridge and a single volume control :)

I got the guitar for the princely sum of £130, which I thought was a good deal seeing as it's 1 of the few 'superstrat' guitars I've actually been able to get along with :)

I can't post pictures yet as my parents don't know I've bought it, so I've gotta play it safe for the time being and pick my moment to take photos carefully :D

I've just had a look on Ebay and there's a guitar on there that's identical to the 1 I bought today and it's a 90's Charvel Dinky.

well, the one in the pic has 22 frets ;)
the one in the pic is a 275 deluxe i believe. from what i see it has the two single coils bridge.. damn i hate cr@ppy pics

If it's a fusion chances are it basswod rather than alder, although that sunburst that davey posted looks like alder 8)

It does look like the 1 on the far right, but mine doesn't have that huge Floyd Rose bridge :)

It's identical to the 1 I posted on Ebay, but mine has 24 frets :lol: (which is something I didn't notice when I posted the ebay pic!)

the floyd is the same as the other ones =P the flash and reflection make it look huge

Goin' by your info Davey (and through matching it up on HC reviews) it appears it is probably a Fusion Special like you originally said :)
