How do I order "Battle Worn".... NOT worn?

I think u have battle-worn confused.  Th actual battle worn ones are in the gallery section in a seperate post and have chips and dings in them done with a file or something.

you'll see what I mean when they get to me.

I can't believe that only 2 guys undestood me.

what's so hard to understand?

I want the same god damned pickups that I see in the gallery under "battle worn" but I just don't want them to look "worn".

they don't have a pic of that pickup not looking "worn out". All I see are black covered with silver screws, others with pimple like button rows and others with white markings.

 :? my god

Yea mate but you have the terminology wrong.

The ones I posted the link to ARE THE BATTLE WORN hence the chips and dings in them.  Straight matt black ones with allen heads are 'matte none-more-blacker with allen head poles'

I see you like EMG style covers (as I do), Id ask 2 see if they do matt black covers with no holes ala EMG.

He wants a matt black pickup with engraving and black hole pole pieces. So it is like the exactly like the battle worn one if it wasn't chipped and beaten.

is the "matt black" very different to the normal black? what is the difference really? I just want them to match my black hardware and don't want them to look wierd  :(

some actual real pics on a guitar with these humbuckers would be nice  :D

Look in the gallery at the black covers, scroll down and it says something like: these are matt black covers.

Yea but that is just a 'Matt black with allen head poles' humbucker.  Like ordering a purple bobbin set with allen head bolts.

The 'battle worn' option is exactly the one with chips and beaten up.... hence BATTLE WORN.  Its more specific option as it was initially a one off like Tim describes it... a bit like having burnt chrome.

Im not having a dig here, its just he's getting irate at people getting confused when he wasn't being totally accurate in the first place, which is easy with a manufacture that has limitless options

He did - twice...apparently it can't be done as the pickup loses power and definition without at least one row of screws showing
