The things I didn't like at first was the weight ( ) and the pickups (cr@pola duncan design, changed the baritone ones for GFS, sound far better but no money for 4 BKPs  )

exception rather than the rule unfortunately. All the Pawn Shops in a 100 mile radius of me had cr@p or overpriced stuff on par with buying from a dealer :(
Now, small mom/pop stores, they could be goldmines!

Johnny, did ya make it to Ed Romans? That guy is a class 1 asshole but does have an immense stock to look at/play.

Yes Nick I did! It's overwhelmingly big! I did a quick look around. Then bought strings, picks, Axe Wax oil and a cable. Got the info i need for the HBE products and left!

I heard some of the guitarists in town jamming on the gear. Put it this way, if anyone who has submitted clips in BKP's wanted to make money in a band in Vegas, you would get work as long as you played the game right and your band are as good or better than you!  8)
We rock in here! Just you all remember that!!  8)   8)

Johnny, it's same all over the states.

Guitar Centre is like a 'Tesco' for musicians but to be able to hear yourself think (let alone talk/play) over 14yo's hammering out Nirvana or Green Day in those places is nigh on impossible.

Romans is a trip to see aint it :) Too bad the guy is a douchebag!

Good deal on the HBE's, have a power screamer myself, you will love it, they rawk!

Surprised you did'nt find any uber cheap '80's axe's, charvels, ibanez, kramer etc. The one thing Texas Pawn shops and mom/pop stores seemed to have in abundance is some darn good 80's axes cheap. Never really was my bag as most have floyd type trems but they are a steal nowadays if thats no issue.

 It's funny 'cause it's true...Got my tele in one of them when I was in LA (what a waste of space that city is) Really cheap (especially compared to UK prices) but a horrible place to actually try out and make a decision between guitars...

Romans is bigger than i expected. But i did expect big as it's in LV! I only got to one pawn store as i was car bound to my friends who needed theirs too. If they lent me a car i would have forgotten my side of the bargain and probably got lost too! I did get the a nice cheap Ibanez for their 10 year old. Mind you I'm not holding my breath on the dedication to learn it as he is a PlayStation TV addict now! I could see his frustration at not being able to do it right away but he is only 10. Hopefully it will teach him more than just the guitar if you know what i mean! I took them out in the desert on their dirt bikes too. Now that was cool! I used my friends Kawasaki KX 250 which i helped him choose and prepare for The Western Beach race in Western Super Mare a few years back. Which is this month if you want a mad weekend Nick! Anyway I tore through this open desert near their road like a lunatic on angel dust! It was my first dirt bike ride for 9 years. I used to do Enduros years back and i haven't lost much of what i had! The kids just loved it, so i slowed right down and gave them lessons then two US Airforce fighter jets flew over on their way to the strip to put on a show!   Lifes what you make it!

I don't mean jump in there and do the race you nutter,  just go along and watch! You will laugh so much you'll piss yourself!

Super moto was something i was going to do. I took lessons for Enduro from one of this country's successful SuperMoto guys back in 1990. Man this dude could ride. He showed us how to do it. I can rip it up on a dirt bike thanks to him. I used the techniques as a Dispatcher around London in the wet on a road bike. I swear that's why I'm still here today!

If you do get another bike, just build yourself up gradually and take lots of breaks. That's how do it and I'm a $%&#in looney!!

Looks too nice for me! I like them to look like they have a pair!

Streetfighters has some cool custom stuff. I know a few blokes who do all that. I may get an old GSXR 1100 Oil Cooled. Nasty!
