Custom hardwood guitar cabs?
« on: October 09, 2006, 02:46:51 PM »
Ummm... I was looking for guitars made of exotic woods few days ago and then I started to think about hardwood guitar cabinets made out of exotic woods.

Only place I found was this:
http://www.electricwoodamps.com/

And I'm a bit lost cuz I'm not sure if they make amp combos or cabinets or both?

So does anybody know if there are companies that make custom cabs out of exotic woods?

Note: I have no intentions of buying one, just want to see cuz they look very cool. And maybe for the future.

Yes, but the question is WHY?! They will be prohibitively expensive, not to mention delicate to the rigors of road use!

I agree - my first thought on seeing one would be "damn, that would've looked so nice as a top on a guitar..."
