...and it's exactly what I needed! I bought a Jackson SL1T two weeks ago, and the Seymour Duncan TB-4 in the bridge was just... flat. It sounded OK at mid gains through my JCM 2000, and had enough crunch on a JMP-1, but it didn't ever really scream. The harder I played it, the more it seemed to resist. It's like it topped out at 85% of the tone I wanted from it. So I heard about the Miracle Man from the Seymour Duncan forums, and I came here, listened to the sound clips, and ordered one right away.
The Miracle Man just has so many sweet (or evil, depending on the key) harmonics, even at low gains. The bottom end is really tight, and the top end is crisp and edgy. When I roll up the gain, it fuzzes out perfectly. It's a great rhythm pickup, and an awesome lead pickup. I can jam along to Thin Lizzy, Gamma Ray, or Finntroll, and it blends right in.
I'll certainly recommend Bare Knuckle Pickups to all my friends. Keep up the excellent work in Barnstaple!
