NB 7
« on: October 15, 2006, 07:16:04 PM »
Hi
here's my first clip.
NB bridge in Mayones Setius GTM 7 string.

All through my Vox Tonelab direct into PC.
I can't remenber what patch Iused for the rhythm git but it should also be the nailbomb.
Solo is a Soldano Patch I got from hunter (awesome patches, hunter :D).
First part gain a bit lower with fingers, second part gain low with pick, third part gain higher with pick.
It's all improvised so, timing isn't always perfect and there are a couple of dead notes and stuff but you get an impression. :)

I will post some more clips later on trying to show different sides of the NB.
Enjoy

Here's the metal riffage for JP (false note included, I'm too lazy to correct it) ;)
It's a petrucci patch based on the rectifier model. This one goes to B!!!

I thought so ;)
I used to use much more distortion, but lately I really like the cleaner tones even though some of the faster stuff gets harder as you have to be more exact...
Is the bass tight enough?? hmmm?
Yeah, I think so. I don't do so much metal chugging (well sometimes :D), but I would say yes. The NB is very defined, and clear, so if you play tight it plays tight :). But it doesn't have a sterile precision.

I preferred the first one. The lead tone is perfect, and your playing is awesome aswell.

Hey,
thanks for the compliments   :D
As for the tone _tom_, that is hunter's fault as it is his awesome Patch for the Tonelab. :)
Will post some more clips with the NB as soon as I have some time. (Then there's also the crawler neck which needs recording  )
