Just record anything , even if half a minute if not even less on clean no effects no shame about being criticised, i really need a realistic insight about these pickups, if someone could post a sample on. I'm thinking about buying 3 Dimarzio Pro tracks, so any recommendation about singlecoil pickups that give a good heavy sound, as I have noticed on the Slowhand and Trilogy descriptions they are the no.1 choice but someone that has them , their opinion would be really helpfull.Nothing specific, maybe sounding like the recent Saxon.That would be my aim, but also for hard rock, rock, and simmilar... thanks & cheers

Here's something I just knocked together in about 5 minuites. Using my Behringer X v-amp with Guitar Rig 2 cabs.

Neck pickup only I'm afraid. Please excuse the truly awful playing. It's 11.40 and I can hardly see, never mind play. Bit too much wine :P.

Hope it helps a little. Bear in mind I know nothing about mixing or anything so this is a pretty raw sound.

thanks man, you're my savior. I'd appreciate if you could tell what are the other pickups on the guitar just for refference not to plagiate you or anything like that, I mean they're single or humbucking?... and I hope that the amp ain't a significant factor. nice playing. you play better in alcoholised state than I sober.

The other pickups on the guitar are a Nailbomb bridge p/u and a Mother's Milk middle p/u. I only used the Trilogy Suite neck pickup for that clip though, for the clean and overdriven parts. What amp do you have? What guitar's pickups are you replacing? Mine is a Richwood Strat copy :).

I just got the Crate Gt-212 amp. But I can't get anything out of it, it's not that good on how i played it in the store where I got it, used a different guitar though, but I'm aware of the limitations my mexican standard Strat has so I'm trying to replace them, trilogy would still make the best choice cause there isnt much options left anyway, Mothers milk isn't a heavy rock sounding, Miracle man I don't know maybe if I put a Sinner in the bridge and the rest of them are trilogy's..., will that jeopardise the straightness of the tone..? but that's just speculation. trilogy's are the best for leads, but i need an all-around guitar, so something in the bridge that is different , stronger that is. or am I wrong?
