They were the original DiMarzio made IBZ/USA pickups on Bill's S, so I'm led to believe. Amps were 5150 and Marshall 30th Anniversary.

Thanks man
i downloaded several bootleg videos but the $%&#ing Hand of bill steer is just in the SPOT of the bridge pickup
ahahahah i couldn´t see the bridge one
on his black ibanez S.
but the neck is stock IBZ/USA .
SO, i´ll blow all the asses and minds of the metal head out there when i purchase my 5150 head.

From what I can recall, Bill used a standard Ibanez JS into an Anniversary Marshall half stack (in the studio at least), I certainly don't recall seeing a 5150 unless he only used it on stage. I think it was a higher end JS, and would have had DiMarzio's in as stock.

The Miracle man neck is the same as a warpig neck.
The NB neck would be ok, but I'd still stick with the calibrated set of Warpigs.
We don’t advise putting any of our bridge humbuckers in the neck position, that’s why each model has its own specially designed neck, to compliment the bridge perfectly.

Strange, I signed up today to make this exact thread. I definately want to put some BKPs in my guitar, and IMO, the Heartwork album had the best metal lead tone ever, it would be amazing to get close to their tone.

I just really want to hear some higher quality sound clips of War pigs, especially in the neck, because although they sound like what i'm after, the clips i've heard haven't impressed me too much. I wish they were more widely used
