Aces High on Mules
« on: October 21, 2006, 09:13:31 PM »
Been learning this song over the past few days, this is the best recording I've got of it so far. I know the solo and outro arent right, but its the best I can do em right now, I couldnt find an accurate tab for the outro and havent tried figuring it out yet! Not exactly an ideal guitar for Maiden but it works for me!

Its all bridge Mule except the solo which is neck Mule. Into V-Amp 2 on brit hi gain patch.

Nice!  Mules do Iron Maiden pretty well.  More transparent sounding than the original.... more of a live sound if you know what I mean.
Real men turn their volume to 11!

Backing was from www.guitarbt.com. Seems a bit fast to me compared to the original now I listen to it.

Cheers :D

The solo took so many takes to get to where it is now, a video woulda made my lead playing seem even worse coz there'd probably be so many mistakes

Thanks for all the replies though guys, glad my clips seem to be getting better gingataff :D

I have to agree with everyone.

The tone was amazing and I felt your playing wasnt as half as bad as you made it out to be

Do you reckon the Neck Mule would be able to do the rhythm instead of the bridge mule with a bit of tweaking??
