the ending wasnt pretty that's for sure
went to the korpiklaani gig and had a MARVELOUS time. what a bunch of awesome showmen.
a night with beer and finnish metal, about beer.. and hunting..
the main guitarist used a JSX halfstack, the vocalist a 5150 full stack, both had emg's and les pauls (though not gibsons).the violin player had a floor POD, what the accordion player used i got no idea.. prolly just mic, straight to mixer.
got in a bit of smalltalk about the tour with the bassist and he told me that on the last concerts afterparty the accordion player went onstage with an iron maiden tribute band and played The Trooper on the accordion. that alone i'd pay to see LOL

i got a signed poster but no picks and very few pictures, cos i forgot to change the bateries in my camera =/
the supporting band, called Zvier (a twist on the slovene word for Beast) very pretty imperssive. Death/black metal band. they had an AWESOME guitar sound. one had a jem555, a randall head through a 5150 cab, and the other had a squire stratw/ emg's, a gt6 through an ibanez head and peavey cab not what i usualy listen to but live they got it. this is the 3rd slovene band, that can hold their ground live, that i know of.. there's a boatload of other metal bands, but havent seen em.

i stuck around at the afterparty for a bit. got the signatures and went out, when i saw thesehip-hop screwups, that were outside.. and surprisingly, i knew one of them, cos he was a schoolmate in primary school. he told me if i had a car in the lot i should move it, but insted i went back to the bar and warned a couple of guys.. 10 seconds later, the parking lot was full of metallers. it was so much fun to watch. 5 whiteboys vs 100+ metalheads in full attire
they did get a lucky break though.. the hospital is just around the corner
it was a good evening. i wore my BKP shirt to do some advertising hehe
and the metal chicks = teh hotness!!!
