I'm new to this head/cab thing so my question is, if i want to put it in stereo what do i plug into what and do i need more than one wire?

If you are plugging one head in and it is a mono output then the cab should be switched to mono and the correct impedance selected matching the amp to the cab resistance value

The cab onlyt has stereo facility in case you are actually using two amps or a stereo power amp - like in a rack system.

In your case - leave it mono and ensure that the impedance is correctly set
