Can someone else with a tapped MQ let me know how their sounds compare when tapped or untapped please? I think I've fixed the wiring on my MQ today but I'd like to check something. I currently have:
Full pickup
- strong & clear tone, bright highs, lots of power, edgy sound
Tapped pickup
- a bit less output, tone not quite as clear, highs more rounded, sounds like the volume and tone pots have both been turned down to 8
Is that right? Tim thought the tapped pickup should have brighter highs???
