New song Using the DHA VT2 Fatguts - Custom
« on: October 26, 2006, 04:02:35 AM »
Made up acouple riffs in the vein of early pentagram / electric wizard with some of my 'unique' vocals layed over them. The guitars are double tracked and panned thirty percent to each side. The song is calld "The  Will-Breaker" and its realy only in the planning stages right now but I like where it going and I think it could be great once iI get a chance to get together with my bass player for a lil R&D. Ill go ahead an post yall some lyrics since you prob wont be able to understand a word I say so :].

- "Will-Breaker"
"Walk into the twilight hour, says the dying man
Opens up a book and reads about the caravan
the world you see before you now, he opens up your eyes
The picture that your mind has painted, nothing but disquise

See the world for what it is, a doomed and dreary place
No happiness or love above despite our dreaming ways
The old man sighs and lifts his eyes to show his weary face
This is what you will become so look and be disgraced"

Epiphone SG Custom (w/ stock pups) > DHA VT2 (Various settings most w/ maxed gain) > slightly driven Epiphone Valve Jr. Amp Head (w/ Tung Sol 12AX7 and JJ EL84) > Marshall MG4x12 w/ Celestion 30's (cheapo's i think) > cr@ppy Dell Computer Mic > Audacity Recorder
Tell me what yall think. IM likin it. :]

EDIT; Hey, I kno this is prob out of place since i don have any BKP's in the clip so If a MOD would like me to remove the file for space constraints I can just find somewhere else to upload and post a link from there. Thanks guys :].

:D Sounds like your getting the kinda sounds outa the VT2 Fatguts that you were after. But if i were you i`d deffinatly get a Warpig as it sounds like it`d be right down your street.

How are you getting on with the Fatguts now that you`ve had some time with it.

 :D  8)
God I could do with a Gin & Tonic !

Id say its better than when I did that last recording. I just cant run it with the epi Vj. at full volume or it sounds to muschy. It is a lil bassy but im compensating by playing on the bridge pickup more, which leads me to think I may need to get ceramic pigs as apposed to the alnico. Right now its lookin like a ceramic pig in the bridge then a pig-90 in middle and a reg pig in the neck. Gahd I have serious GAS :D
