Hey guys.

As some of you know, as soon as I can sell the Seth Lovers currently in my Gibby LP, I plan on replacing them with a set of Bareknuckle Mules.

The 1 thing I'm having trouble with is deciding what colour/finish to have on the pickups.

Here's the guitar in question:



Now, if this was your guitar, what colour/finish pickups would you put in it?

In the pic the hardware looks like chrome so maybe it should be a chrome cover rather than nickel?

Yeah, you are right sorry-upon reflection chrome would be better so I should have gone for "other".

I say nickel. The softer yellow-ish glow matches the top and cream rings better than chrome, IMHO.

I agree nickel will look better than chrome but it wont match the hardware, unless changing the rest of the hardware is an option (and thats what I would ideally go for).

i say chrome or nickel, my mates got a very similar axe, exact same finish colour and hardware and he has chrome... suits it nicely.

Also, you did say "if this was your guitar" - as I already have a few guitars with zebras, some black & 2 LPs with covered (1 chrome, 1 nickel), double creams would make this guitar a bit different from the rest....

I'm a big fan of double cream bridge and reverse zebra neck (so the black coil is the screw coil next to the fingerboard).  I think that would look great in your LP.
