Well, I'm looking for some fine pick'ups that would be versatile, so that I could "chop off a head with 'em" and at the same time was able to switch smoothly into some clear jazzy sounds. It should sound quite modern 8) . So - summing it up: I need something that is working well with high gain amps, dosen't loose ony of its clarity and is great on clean.
I've read that Warpigs kick hard and do great on clean. I couldn't verify that, as I haven't found any satisfactory demos of it (all I found were some high gain and 7 string samples). The best sound I've found here was produced through the set of Nailbomb (bridge) and CS (neck). Unfortunately it was on a 7 string and I own a 6, so guess it won't never reach that fat sound... :roll:
