Hey people. im trying to create a john frusciante style sound with my fender mexican strat and in my quest i have stumbled upon this web forum. id just like youre individual opinions on these aparently brilliant pickups. sound clips of them in action would be much appreciated as after looking at what most people have said im set to buy, but with the cost id just like to seal the deal with hearing them in action (preferabley on a mex strat).

Hi Mellowhead,

do a search in the players room for mothers milk clips and a few should come up.

Hello there. I have a strat with mothers milk and play into a JCM800 (as did John in the BSSM days). You can get a very good Frusciante type tone with this set up. You can also get many other tones too. I'd definitely recommend!
