I just saw this and after the great reports about the valve junior I'm really interested.

Lots of speaker options here too.

All at £410

I wanna try it!

I've been gathering some info about all the other Epi amps. The Blues Custom in particular. These don't seem to be the deal of the century, mostly beacause of bad tubes.

that's the one I want to try. sounds a bit like a genz benz black pearl (which I also want to try) albeit at about a third of the price. I wouldn't mind trying the so-cal either.

I guess the main concern is that just because the VJ is great, doesn't mean they are.

Marshall MG's are hardly universally renowned as awesome, despite the kick ass marshall amps which have been made in the past...

i found this video, with some VERY short clips of the new epiphones. First impressions:
SoCal: Nastily fizzy
Blues Custom: Sweet sounding, good dirty and clean, but possibly overpriced
Valve Junior: AWESOME clean
LOVING the Mules!

I want to replace the tubes on my Fender amp, are the preamp and power amp tubes easy to replace by myself if I have no experience with amps in general other than turning them on and twisting knobs?  :?:

Check out www.eurotubes.com

Plenty of retube kits and even a video about how to bias the amp.

My first impression: the 12 string Riviera sounds decidedly six-stringed!  :?
