Problem with my bridge humbucker
« on: December 15, 2006, 04:56:09 PM »
The bridge pickup in my PRS is playing up. When I change the pickup selector to the neck pickup and then back to the bridge pickup, the output of the bridge humbucker is really quiet and only returns to normal volume when I strum the strings really hard. It's becoming a major pain in the arse. What could be the problem?

possibly a switch problem
Do you have a 3 way switch like a Gibson?
May be that the switch needs tweaking or replacing

Yeah it's a 3 way toggle switch. I'm thinking of changing the bridge humbucker to a Painkiller anyway so when I send it to a tech near by i'll get him to fix it.
