figured you guys could give me more help on a pickup choice if i give you some clips of my amp. not quite my best playing, at all, just random stuff i made up, except for stairway and dee. but they were on some amp i had like two years ago. just take a listen to the untitled song and that quick improv cr@p i did. anyway, i'm wondering which pickups would match up best with my tone and what i'm playing. i'm thinking painkiller bridge. maybe with a riff raff neck. right now though, i just want a new bridge.

oh, and its a bit muffled because of a zenith mic from like 1800.

cr@p, disregard the improv cr@p too. i forgot that was with my gfx-8. basically just listen to the untitled thing in terms of tone.

I'm not well enough up on the BKP's to advise which pickups, but I'd post this (or pm ol to get him to move it) in the pickups thread, you're liable to get more responses there, I'd have thought...

^ i mean the pickups forum, not the "players' clips" forum...

but yeah, i dont' see why it wouldn't be allowed in the pickup forum, just change the title to "which pickups for the tones in my clips?" or something along those lines.

but pm ol (the web guy) just to make sure it's ok, maybe he'll even move this one for you if you ask nicely.
