Zappa plays Zappa... last night at the House of Blues in New Orleans.  What an amazing concert, the Music, the Musicians, the whole crowd, we have not slept much,  still walking around stunned by the event. We are better beings after this. Happy holidays & greatings from the Birthplace of the Blues.

COOL

I'd have loved to see that.  Even got a cat called Dweezil.  Glad it was a good night, any highlights?
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Hi TM. DZ was amazing in the guitar, there were some unbelievable difficult solos, played with ease and grace. DZ held his own. The musicians on his band had all their shining moments(sorry I cannot leave anybody out). You could feel they were having the time of their lives. It is the whole Zappa experience, the comedy, this freedom to perform your best in a joyful way. A comparison would be to quote from a formula One car driver " every race car driver dreams of racing at least once for Ferrari". I read years ago the same about Frank Zappa. Add to that Napoleon Brock, Terry Bozzio, and Steve Vai, man... they were larger than life characters.

I saw the show at the Royal Albert Hall in June.  We didn't get an appearance from Mr Bozzio, though.

Dweezil is so underrated.  I'd rather listen to him than Vai, TBH.
