Request: Metallica chug with C. Warpig & Miracle Man
« on: December 20, 2006, 10:07:04 AM »
Ok, so i'm getting some BKP's for my explorer after xmas, looking for a heavy Metallica kind of tone from Justice to Black album.

Some say MM some say CW, one even said an overwound MM. I cannot decide. So you lot can decide for me with your amazing Metallica/Metallica style clips that you would very kindly do for meee :D  :D .

Keep it heavy, no slacking!

Cool, what equiptment did you use for this?

I think the Miracle Man is a good choice for Justice, though i don't know about the Black Album.

Can you record something from the Black album?
Sad But True or maybe just a load of riffs in a medley kind of thing, that would be cool.

But those clips definatley helped man

Myn is a made in Japan Tokai, LTD Edition only a small batch came to the UK, i havn't tried the Korean one but my Explorer is easily the best guitar i have ever played. Tokai are great, i haven't heard a bad word about the Jap or Korean ones, great all round guitars and are getting to be strong competators to Gibson.

Unless you are getting the MIJ one i have then i would try it first. But as i said it doesn't matter where it is made, Tokai are great guitars.

I didn't read you post properly, i just listened to that band and automatically thought it was a MM (mainly because of the huge harmonics)
Wow that Nailbomb sounds awesome, though does it have enough power to  get that huge Metallica sound?

Edit: oh wait they were EMG's

Cool, i'm sort of leaning towards the Nailbomb now, because it is so versatile and for thrash the articulation needs to be there.
