I've got GAS for an old 1970's Les Paul custom. I remember an ex-friend of mine was given a 70s les paul custom by his dad. It was left in his attic for years as he had turned to bass. So what did my friend do?

Completely dismantled the guitar and took the neck off it so he could attach it to a guitar body he had made. The result = utter cr@p, what a waste!

So post pictures of any Les Pauls you have or like the look of!

Yep, an all original 1970s left handed custom with 3 humbuckers. I was in total shock.

My Epiphone  8)

I'd prefer an Edwards or Greco with the 'real' woods though (this has alder cap apparently), this things lighter than my mates old Jackson  :?

I've got to say, Sherpa's LP Custom above is one of the nicest I've ever seen.  Love the colour with the gold hardware!

(It would look just a tiny bit better with the Rhythm/Treble ring put back, though!  All in the details. )

The black "Rhythm/Treble" washer round the pickup selector switch - I just think it looks a bit bare without it.  Lovely guitar though!   :D
