Holy Diver drop-D fun
« on: December 23, 2006, 12:44:05 PM »
...well, drop-C# actually.  As I already had the Jackson tuned like this for the clean clip, it made sense to stand on the channel switch & play something a bit heavier

Enjoy :)

This drop-C# clip was recorded using my Gibson Les Paul vintage burst, which also has a Holy Diver set in it.  Can't remember the name of the Helmet song I stole the riff from...

I really like the tone in the first clip (was that an Almighty riff from back in the day?).
I tihnk I might hav to save up for a new guitar so I can get a HD!

What amp were you playing through? (ah, just noticed the other posts - ignore this question!)
MM set, warpig set, about to be fitted - custom 7 bridge 'pig, CS7 neck.
