it isnt?

oh well, for that price, i'm sure they cant put a necktrhough together.. even in korea.. but one of those contoured set neck jobies would be kinda cool.

and yea, that inlay was pretty dumb for anythong other than mick or the truly die hard fan.. but even for the fan it was overkill. kinda like all those EVH replicas.. only ed can somehow get away with em

If Ibanez needs to do one thing, it's to bring back the Mk1 Destroyer.
And don't care about G!bs*n.

And the Destroyer 2 (and the whole Iceman series as they were in 1979-82)

Ahh.. I remember when they came out 20 years ago, I was enquiring today about those reissues but the shop were very tight lipped, "Wait til NAMM" was basically the answer :?

IBANEZ BRING BACK THE V!!!

I do quite like those Vs, more than all these other Ibanez models anyway.  But why the stupid over-complicated bridges?

I can't understand why they don't just reissue the early-80s Rocket Roll, Destroyer etc.  Maybe the current head of R&D hates them.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

That's exactly what I'm getting off my local dealer.  It's bloody frustrating when guys in the US are pre-ordering them   :x

I want to pre-order the RG550MXX in DY and RFR but no-one will take an order...

Bloody Gibson and their feckin' lawsuits.  Why do they sue PRS and Ibanez but not ESP, Aria, Yamaha, Washburn, Tokai etc? (or maybe they already have?)

The bridge on your guitar's really just a big tune-o-matic though isn't it?  Those new ones look like they have Allen bolts in front of the saddles and some sort of weird arrangement for adjusting the bridge angle.

yeah very true about the bridge theyve sued esp hence why there explorers became the cr@ppy EX

esp are soon to release the V series guitars again now that mustaine has left and gibson havent sued TOkai because theyre are a jap company originally but i can imagine they shall be sueing soon because of the recent move of there sales over to US

for example esp jap can still make exact gibson explorer and V copies and sell them IN japan but nowhere else
