MMM, that wasn't the Charvel by the way, that was my Schecter that i want to sell, the Charvel looks very nice.

But the Schecter is not big at all it is easy to access the frets, also i don't know what gap you are on about, and that is not glue on the neck.

I just won that blue charvel on ebay, for £200! I also have money left over for a BK or 2 for it if I want to :) Though depending on what the finish looks like in person I may refinish it if I dont like it..
