i'm wondering, how do you control the synth end?  i don't see the usual switches and buttons.

oh, and i quite like the blank headstock

They might be added ... jury is still out on whether I will actually need em or not.

It does need something on there.  And no string trees?  Are they locking tuners?

Cool!  Stripped-down, single-pickup guitars are great (but I can't do without my volume & tone controls, personally).

Liking the guitar ben. I notice you have 5 springs in the trem, to help it stay in tune with heavier strings? Have you tried the hipshot tremsetter, i just got a new tokai Goldstar strat and Iwant to keep the trem on it (for once) but they always go out of tune, but i digress (if you spell it that way)

The bridge is as tight down as you can get.  I was going to block it, but I had to get the guitar together in less than a week (I got back from England at 1 AM on the 31st, and had it ready by the evening of the 2nd, including recutting the scratchplate, so I just put 5 springs in and tightened the claw for now.

ahh, i wondered that, i have done it on two of my strats. Have you ever used a tremsetter?

No - I always just think that if you don't want the trem you tighten the springs and pull it to the body, with a block if you really want it to be firm, otherwise just put 3 springs in and use it normally.

The Tremol-No is a fab piece of kit, I have one installed on my 1957R MIJ Strat and it locks the trem down perfectly. It's basically a hardtail now but by loosening two little thumb screws, bam, it's back to a vintage trem.
