You do know he's got another band going right now.  Not anything much like T-Ride (they've even toured with Duran Duran) but fun all the same: Stimulator

Oh, and singer Susan Hyatt is definitely on The List.  ;)

the electric guitar of Richard Thompson (as opposed to his much vaunted acoustic playing) - unfortunately dross in places, but some outstanding electric playing throughout his career - in fact, to me, better than his Jansch like acoustic stuff.

Craig Goldie - it was a big ask filling the shoes of Vinnie Campbell, but his work on the "Dream Evil" album & tour more than managed it IMO...

How about Dave Murray?  I don't often hear him mentioned as a bona fide guitar hero yet he has a style & voice that are all his own - or has he received too much recognition to be considered to have "slipped through the net"?

Damn right Muttley! Thanks for updating me on the new band - I've taken a listen and there is NOTHING that gives a hint as to his guitar chops... :?

That guy was(is) such a guitar monster but you wouldn't know it. He blew Nuno out of the water but never got the recognition during the same period.

Oh well...

Ace Frehley (KISS) - responsible for making more American kids want to play the guitar in the 1970s than almost any other player

He has a pretty cool vibrato, and whilst a lot of the stuff seems easy & simple  - it takes a lot of trying to get the feel he had (even if it was accidental)

Stan Webb - Chicken Shack, used to be ranked up there with Clapton, Green, Page and Beck.  He also has a great voice
Walter Trout - His stuff with John Mayall and his solo albums show how rocky blues should be played on a strat
Mick Box - listen to early Uriah Heep to hear some really nice rock guitar playing
Martin Barre - electric folk at its best!!
Andy Powell, Ted Turner, Laurie Wisefield - Wishbone Ash were one of the first melodic twin guitar bands
Leslie West - great P-90 tones when he was with Mountain

I was at BB Kings in NYC in October to see Robin Trower.  It was a sell out, so he is not forgotten in New York!
