Problem with an SG is the body's not deep enough for push-pull pots, so you'd have to drill holes for mini-switches. Not good for the guitar's value! Although you could put them on a scratchplate so there's no visible damage.
It's possible to use the tone control pot as a coil-splitter like
this, but then you no longer have a tone control, so personally I'm not keen on the idea.
I hear that the Warpig sounds great in parallel, so when I eventually get one for my black SG-X (which already has a mini-switch) that's how I'll be wiring it.
