I've heard some dodgy things from a guy who's heard some dodgy things about the build quality of those 2x12's.

It's hearsay extreme to the max, but it's the best I've got.

Well, I dont think I'm gonna go for one of these any more, as I have other things which need paying for   I am still interested in getting a smaller 2x12 though as mine is pretty big and a pain in the arse to move around - its pretty much compact 4x12 size (actually taller than my mates Marshall cab!), just slightly narrower.

So I'm rethinking getting one of the 2x12s.. Are they easy to move around? I've just had the first band practise in ages and remembered why I hate my current cab - pain in the arse to move around! Makes me wish I had a combo again..

i've tried the dragon 2x12 cab. $%&#ing awesome, damn fine cabinet indeed.  If you want a 2x12 of any higher quality, you'll have to dish out AT LEAST 400$US more, all just for a tiny step up in quality.

this might be a long shot... but I think the cabs are cheap because you usually buy them with their incredibly expensive heads so they give you a deal on them.
my maxon OD 808 really DOES make poop sound good

Though the framus looks more versitile, being that it can be open or closed back... and weighs 3kg less.
