don't forget, add 21% and shipping, so you're still looking at £500+
The Washburn is a very nice guitar, just different, but you are paying for it. For that money you could get a Dean EVO Special Select and fit it with BKs and locking Grovers and a locking Tune-a-matic, so while yes it's a better appointed guitar, the price difference reflects this. Also, at £500-£550 you're getting into very serious guitar territory, and the Washburn doesn't necessarily hold up to other guitars in this range. I'd recommend the WI65 without hesitation,it's a good guitar for a good price, but the 66 is batting with the big boys.

Missed that (it's late). For £425 that's a killer deal, I would most definitely take it if I were you. Check out some cool pics on this thread (scroll down towards the bottom

I'd probably take the Tokai over the Washburn though

The Washburn is already eliminated (didn't last very long  )

I'm waiting to see what everyone reveals at NAMM today.

Gibson have unsurprisingly announced some new Les Pauls and SGs, the others haven't really updated to this year's line ups on their sites yet

They're schecters at the end of the day, and yeah, they're great.

And what's wrong with pink?!

I like the Razorback V's, though i think they might be a bit poor quality (korean ones) and will appeal to the nu metal kids more than true metalheads, and to be honest i'm more into what Ibanez have just released at NAMM.

holy sh!t!!!!!
look at all those new razorbacks! including a 7 string!!! ahhh! thats really cool!
oh cr@p, theyre releasing cheap budget razorbacks.... everyone will have them!! ahhhh!

btw CrazyJoe, my Japanese Razorback is awesome, and i don't really see the point in the USA made ones. if you drop a japanese 1, ur fine (i wouldn't be tho), but if you drop a USA one, ur $%&#ed.
but seriously, the japanese/korean/whatever are actually GREAT quality. mine is well constructed, plays well, sound ok (silly dimebucker!) and looks KILLER!!

I like the hardtail Munky 7 string, apart from that it's all pretty samey really (unless you want an 8 string), a new JEM and a new/old 550? wow
Fender's new John 5 tele is a bit whacked, but for the most extremely unexpected guitar of the show, check out the Mojo on this Parker Mojo  :o

That's what I love about you Joe, never afraid to make an extreme statement
They will most obviously appeal to Pantera and Trivium fans, and then the BC Rich sorta crowd. Not really a nu metal kind of guitar. The quality can't be that bad as they've got Seymours or EMGs and decent Floyds, and pretty much everyone is satisfied with their import razorbacks.
Bloodmountain, hate to break it to you man, but your guitar is Chinese.

Hmm, looks like quite a few pythons died for the sake of this year's NAMM show.  Hope it was natural causes.

I should think both Gibson and Dean have their lawyers inspecting those Washburn Paul Stanley models.

There are some fine-looking 2007 Deans!!  I love that Schenker Flame V, but it undoubtedly costs an arm and a leg.  The USA Korina V, on the other hand, is veeeerrry interesting...

The Floyd's are licensed Floyds, i would rather get a proper Edge Pro tremolo, you never get original floyds on guitars unless they are usa made.

um, an edge pro is a modded licensed floyd, it's just they've made a name for it. The Ping Floyd on the razorbacks is reliable and stays in tune.
I can't think of ANY guitar under £1500 that has an OFR, so it's pretty meaningless saying the quality must be poor because it's got a licensed floyd.
